The “Patchwork Picnic” Corset Top.

Using remnant fabric pieces from our “Picnic Collection” of dresses, we have made corset tops from any leftover prints and patterns from our Spring/Summer ‘23 dress collection. Every panel of the top is a different print and no two tops are made the same. There is a lace-up corset-front closure that can be used to adjust the fit and a zipper-back closure for easy access in-an-out of the garment. We’ve introduced new hardware into this design, as the straps now are fully adjustable to be able to accommodate even more shapes and sizes. Like our dresses, these tops are all lined in white cotton/poly-cotton blends to provide comfort and prevent any un-wanted fabric transparency. The corset tops are completely unique and one-of-a-kind while also minimizing our textile waste and keeping our carbon footprint low.

Exact fiber content of garment is unknown: We use primarily 100% cotton and cotton-poly blends, but as these are made from secondhand materials, the exact source/nature of the textiles cannot be confirmed. The bodice is lined with white cotton or a cotton-poly blend (we always aim for 60% cotton or more). The majority of our fabrics for this collection are from the 1960's and 1970's.

All fabrics used were secondhand, most being over 30+ years old and true vintage. As such these materials may have slight signs of wear or minor marks; we do our very best to cut around any areas, but it is sometimes un-avoidable.

To wash your garment, we recommend hand-washing or using the hand-wash/delicate cycle on your machine with mild detergent on a cold water setting with a low spin cycle. If you have a laundry garment bag, we recommend adding your top to such for extra protection. We do not recommend washing other garments with your top as to avoid agitation from other fabrics and prevent any potential color transfer onto your top.
